Join us on Sat, Sept 30 for a Back to School Story Time that encourages children to make friends by teaching them kindness and compassion! Illustrator Rahele Jomepour Bell will read her new book GIVE and pass out stickers. Now that they’ve had some time to settle into their routine, this reading is a great way to help kids ages 4-8  think about and build their social skills.

The Book: A gorgeous and powerful book about how simple acts of kindness can change the world. As parents, teachers, grandparents, aunts and uncles, we hope to teach children compassion, kindness, and selflessness. With a gentle, poignant text by Jen Arena, and colorful, detailed illustrations by Rahele Jomepour Bell, this unforgettable story shows the power of simple acts of kindness and the potential to change other people’s days for the better.

Rahele Jomepour Bell came to the United States from Iran in 2011 to pursue her dream of being a free international artist and graduated with an MFA in Integrated Visual Arts from Iowa State University in 2015.
