Teacher Discounts

TEACHER DISCOUNT:

Dog-Eared Books offers a 20% discount on books to Iowa’s public PreK-12th grade educators. Many of our staff are current or former educators, and we know that teachers spend significant portions of their own underfunded paychecks stocking their classrooms with the books and supplies they need to enrich our children’s lives.

To receive a 20% discount on all book purchases, please provide a bookseller with your public school email address (ex: Jane.Booklover@coolschool.k12.ia.us). Customers who receive our public school teacher discount are ineligible for our in-store rewards program, as the discount greatly exceeds the value of our regular points program.

Teachers may share the discount with their immediate household family members (spouse/partner, children) but may not share the discount with others.
