Jeff Bremer & A New History of Iowa
The Iowa State University Department of History, in partnership with the Ames History Museum, will host Jeff Bremer, author of A New History of Iowa, on October 17 at the Ames Public Library.
Jeff Bremer’s A New History of Iowa is the first new comprehensive history of Iowa ever written, surveying the state from the last ice age 13,000 years ago until the end of 2020. The book is the result of nine years of research and is based on more than 1,000 sources.
Purchase a copy in advance to have signed by the author. Pre-ordered copies can be picked up at the event, or at Dog-Eared Books October 18 or after. Limited quantities will be available for sale at the event.
