Dog-Eared Books for Democracy

DOG-EARED BOOKS supports democracy and believes that no human is illegal. We are against the unconstitutional acts of deportation and racial profiling that the Trump administration is advancing. We want to help our customers make their voices heard in the fight against fascism in the United States – so we are providing postcards, postage, and example language for contacting our representatives to do what they have been elected to do – REPRESENT THE PEOPLE and UPHOLD THE CONSTITUTION.

As an independent bookstore, we are in the business of story-telling, and more than fiction, we all have a part in the story being told about the United States and who we are as a people. 

These post cards will be available in the store, but we are hosting a letter writing party here in the store on Saturday, May 24 from 9 AM – 2 PM.
